For Project 10- COVID Journal May 2020 (TWO Images) you will need to:
Apply your knowledge of flat lay photography (Click here for a tutorial by Christina Greve)
Create TWO personal COVID images- Pandemic and Coping with 5 to 9 different objects in each (specific details below) and edit in Lightroom or Photoshop
Title each image and write a 5 sentence artist statement for each
Post the TWO images, their titles and artist statements
Create a new Weebly page titled COVID May 2020
IMAGE ONE-
The first image should include objects that symbolize items that are helping you get through the pandemic. (Phone, computer, etc.)
Title the image Pandemic.
IMAGE TWO-
The second image should include objects that symbolize items that are helping you stay sane, healthy, and happy. (Painting, drawing, yoga mat, game controller)
Title the image Coping.
* If you are struggling with coming up with TWO DIFFERENT images you may do one with the same objects but you will need 2 different photos of this flat lay re-arranged.
For this one I will allow tastefully used brands but sparsely (no more than 4 brands). See examples above.
For CREDIT I am looking for the following:
Images use natural light or appropriate lighting
Images are well edited in PS or LR
Images use a neutral background (NO sidewalks, driveways or towels) like a nice rug or wood floor.
The images are taken from above.
